L.I.T. RECEIVES IHK SEAL OF QUALITY "TOP TRAINING"

In addition to training manager Astrid Jonat and managing director Simeon Breuer, trainee Geke Bischoff and professional driver trainer Carsten Harms are also delighted with the award from the Oldenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce

The L.I.T. Group is one of the best training companies in the Oldenburg region. This was confirmed by the Oldenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce, which awarded us the “Top Training” seal of approval in mid-December. The certificate certifies that companies provide excellent training quality. The junior staff program has been a high priority for us for many years. This is why we have already received several awards for the high quality of our training

"A career start
in the logistics sector is not very attractive for many young professionals.
The IHK seal of quality confirms that training with us is of a very high quality."

Head of Training of the L.I.T. Group

“Starting a career in the logistics sector is not very attractive for many young professionals. The IHK seal of quality confirms that training with us is of a very high quality,” says our training manager Astrid Jonat. In order to receive the award, we first assessed our training program ourselves. Seven areas were examined: Vocational orientation, start of training, training plan, learning objectives, training personnel, cooperation with vocational schools and partners, including participation in IHK examination committees and personnel development. A three-person team from the Oldenburg Chamber of Industry and Commerce then carried out a quality inspection on site. To this end, it spoke with all parties involved (trainers, training officers and trainees, quality management and HR development).

We scored particularly well thanks to the individual and intensive support we provide to junior staff, which includes comprehensive induction training and regular feedback meetings. In order to optimally prepare the next generation for working in a logistics company, we also train them on company and industry-specific topics. We also offer prospective specialists the opportunity to gain professional experience during internships abroad. “At the end of the apprenticeship, we develop a plan for the future with each apprentice. If you have any unanswered questions, our doors are always open,” says Jonat. In addition, each newcomer is initially assigned a mentor from the year above him or her, who is there to provide advice and support. The trainee truck is also a special highlight. The truck is independently supervised and driven by the trainees. We currently have 75 apprentices completing their training with us.

In May of this year, the VerkehrsRundschau magazine named us the second-best training company in the logistics sector. “The fact that we have now received another award is a great tribute to our training program,” says Jonat.
