Mark Bruns receives full power of attorney and celebrates his service anniversary

An important pillar at L.I.T. right from the start.

Prokura Mark Bruns

Company loyalty can no longer be taken for granted in today’s world. This makes it all the more pleasing for us when employees can be retained for decades. As in the case of Mark Bruns. The Oldenburg native has now celebrated 20 years of service with us. Under company law, he looks after all companies belonging directly to the L.I.T. Group as well as other companies. And that’s not all: at the same time as the anniversary, our Management Board also granted him full power of attorney over L.I.T. AG, including the areas of investment controlling and contract and insurance management.

In the group of companies since 2002

“Mark Bruns has been an important pillar in our company from the very beginning. He is characterised in particular by his reliability and commitment. I would like to expressly thank him for his loyalty and hard work throughout his time at L.I.T.,” says Fokke Fels, CEO of L.I.T. AG. As a trained retail salesman and business administration graduate specialising in controlling and business informatics, Mark Bruns started his career with us in 2002 as a controller. The Oldenburg native was already appointed as an authorised signatory for L.I.T. Lager und Logistik GmbH in his early years. In 2010, Bruns moved to L.I.T. AG in Brake and took over the tasks of controlling and contract management for the entire group. In 2019, he was granted general power of attorney for L.I.T. Service & Administration GmbH. The 52-year-old has now been given full power of attorney over L.I.T. AG. “We value Mark Bruns not only for his high level of professional expertise, but also for his many personal strengths. We are delighted to be able to give him additional responsibility with the power of attorney,” says Fels.

The 52-year-old Bruns uses his free time primarily for relaxation. When he’s not looking after his own dog, he likes to immerse himself in one book or another.
